The Parentals came back from their trip bearing gifts in tiny pink boxes!
They got the bracelets in mustard and blush pink which are cute alone but much better when layered together. I suppose that would have been the sales pitch which got the Parentals to buy two instead of just one.
They also come in hot pink and grey but I think a navy one would be perfect with the gold hardware.
We ordered these from the Proenza Schouler website and I must say the service is excellent. The wallets were shipped out within 1 day. We had to wait a tad longer for them to actually get to us because we used a concierge service to ship them to Singapore.
In any event, they are here! And they are beautiful! Red has always been a personal favourite but I’m so glad I took a chance on the Military which turned out to be this lovely shade of green. If I had to choose, I would pick the Military.
Green is totally the new black, at least for this year.

This is my new fascination with Jack Spade.
I wish we get more of this here rather than a tiny corner in an already small Kate Spade store at Raffles City. A pilgrimage to the Jack Spade store in Manila last month ended up in disappointment because I was 3 months late. The store had closed for good. Now, visiting the next nearest store in Asia involves buying a ticket to Japan. Not a very cost effective idea.
However, online shopping never fails. We bought this Seersucker messenger at Jack Spade’s webstore with a really good discount.
But no wonder that it is going cheap. With winter arriving and seersuckers are such faux pas during winter, we, located in the tropics; experiencing 365 days of summer get these things for cheap and look great in the process of buying good bargains.
